D’shon El Villano’s SOÑANDO (Dreaming) is the kind of album that feels lived in — a deeply Miami-rooted, Caribbean-soaked experience that moves effortlessly between reggaeton, afrobeat, street rap, dancehall, and melodic Latin fusion without ever sounding forced. Across 21 tracks — including 16 full songs and 5 interludes — the project plays like a late-night drive through every side of Miami culture.

Tracks like Lluvia and I Can’t Wake Up lean heavily into afrobeat grooves and hypnotic melodies, while Sigo Soñando, Oye Morena, Se Mueve, Cada Vez, and the standout Tout Bagay (Everything) keep the album grounded in Caribbean rhythm and reggaeton energy. The blend of Spanish, English, and Haitian Creole gives the project an authentic multicultural feel that mirrors the city it comes from.

But SOÑANDO doesn’t stay in one lane. Songs like Los Espiritus, True Religion Remix, and Still Here reconnect the album to D’shon El Villano’s Miami rap and street music roots, adding grit and balance to the smoother, melodic moments. Meanwhile, Don’t Stop and Miami’s Vice featuring The Waffle Shop (Cyrex/Eddie, EdWaffle/KiddZero/RESURRECTION) showcase some of the project’s boldest experimentation — genre fusion done right without losing identity.

Even deeper cuts like El Chiquuito, Visiones, Se Luce, and Nada Comparable carry enough personality and replay value to make the album feel consistently engaging from start to finish. That’s what makes SOÑANDO special: there’s virtually no filler. It’s one of those rare projects that rewards listening front to back without skipping — especially for true music fans who appreciate versatility and world-building in an album.

The production also deserves major recognition. With contributions from Grammy-winning producer IMA305, Grammy-considered producer DREZS, and Miami heavyweights like 2K of Infinite Sound MIA, Stxllo & GTalk of Triple One Productions, alongside EdWaffle and Attila Mendez, the soundscape remains polished, immersive, and constantly evolving.

Overall, SOÑANDO is more than just an album — it’s a cultural collage of Miami’s multilingual, multicultural underground scene delivered through D’shon El Villano’s unique vision.
